Children’s Advocacy Centers (CACs) play a critical role in protecting children and guiding them toward healing. Join us for an overview of the Craven and Pamlico Counties CAC's role in abuse and neglect cases, designed specifically for our partners. This session will provide a deeper understanding of trauma’s impact on children, disclosure, and best practices for identifying trauma responses. We’ll also cover the forensic interview and medical evaluation process, and how to utilize CAC resources to support healing and resilience. This training is essential for partners working together to provide trauma-informed care to child survivors.
